A portion of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) in New Mexico won $25,000 from the Michelob Ultra Superior Trails competition.

November 17, 2015

A portion of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) in New Mexico won $25,000 from the Michelob Ultra Superior Trails competition. The trail extends over 3,100 miles from Canada to Mexico. It is referenced as a living museum of the American West and as a place to connect with nature and a place to bring people together from all walks of life.

The Continental Divide Trail Coalition (CDTC) will use the funds to support five (5) volunteer projects in New Mexico to build new miles of the CDT and help complete the CDT across the Carson and Gila National Forests. Project segments that will be addressed are near Silver City and Chama. Congratulations, CDT!
